Welcome to NORD Fridge Repair. By accessing our website, scheduling a service, or engaging with our technicians, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of both NORD Fridge Repair and our customers. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services Provided

 

NORD Fridge Repair specializes in residential and commercial refrigeration repair services, including but not limited to:

• Refrigerator and freezer diagnostics and repairs

• Ice maker and wine cooler repairs

• Sealed system and compressor repairs

• Commercial refrigeration maintenance and servicing

• Preventive maintenance services

 

1.1 Service Area

 

We provide repair services in:

Maryland: Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Potomac, Olney, Columbia, Frederick, and surrounding areas

Northern Virginia: McLean, Vienna, Tysons Corner, Falls Church, Great Falls, and surrounding areas

Washington, D.C.: Northwest D.C. service zones

 

We reserve the right to decline service requests outside our designated service area.

 

1.2 Service Availability

 

All services are subject to technician availability and may be affected by holidays, weather conditions, or high service demand. We do our best to accommodate all service requests in a timely manner.

2. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations

 

2.1 Booking an Appointment

• Customers can schedule a service through our website, phone, or email.

• A service appointment is only confirmed once the customer receives a confirmation email, text, or phone call from us.

 

2.2 Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Customers must reschedule or cancel an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

• Same-day cancellations may result in a cancellation fee, which will be communicated during the booking process.

 

2.3 No-Show Policy

 

If a customer is not present at the scheduled service time and has not provided prior notice, they may be charged a trip fee or full service charge.

3. Warranty & Service Guarantee

 

3.1 Warranty on Repairs

​

• Labor and replaced parts are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of service.

• The warranty covers defects in workmanship and manufacturer-approved replacement parts used during the repair.

 

3.2 Warranty Exclusions

 

The warranty does not cover:

• Issues unrelated to the original repair

• Damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, power surges, flooding, or third-party modifications

• Appliances with pre-existing damage or manufacturer defects

• Issues arising after repairs due to customer negligence or improper use

 

3.3 Filing a Warranty Claim

• Customers must provide proof of service (invoice or service record) when requesting warranty coverage.

• NORD Fridge Repair will assess the appliance and determine if the issue falls under warranty coverage.

4. Payments & Fees

 

4.1 Payment Methods

 

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit cards

• Check

• Electronic payments

• Cash payments (only at the time of service)

4.2 Service Charges

​

• A diagnostic fee is required for all service visits and is due at the time of the appointment.

• If the customer proceeds with the repair, the diagnostic fee may be applied toward the total repair cost.

 

4.3 Additional Fees

 

Customers may be charged additional fees for:

• Emergency or after-hours service requests

• Additional labor for complex repairs requiring extensive disassembly

• Special-order parts that require advance payment

 

4.4 Non-Payment Policy

 

Failure to pay for services rendered may result in:

• Suspension of future service requests

• Legal action or third-party collection services

• Reporting unpaid balances to credit agencies

5. Liability & Limitations

​

• NORD Fridge Repair is not responsible for pre-existing issues, manufacturer defects, or improper installations performed by third parties.

• We are not liable for food loss due to appliance failures before, during, or after a service visit.

• Customers must provide a safe working environment for technicians. If a technician encounters unsafe conditions, they may refuse service.

• We are not responsible for damages caused by customer negligence, DIY repairs, or unauthorized third-party repairs after our service visit.

6. Customer Responsibilities

 

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate information about the appliance, including brand, model, and reported issue.

Ensure someone 18 or older is present at the service location during the appointment.

Clear the workspace around the appliance before the technician arrives.

Allow the technician full access to diagnose and repair the unit.

 

Failure to comply may result in delays, rescheduling, or additional fees.

7. Privacy Policy

 

7.1 Data Collection

 

We collect customer information solely for:

• Booking and confirming appointments

• Providing service updates

• Processing payments

 

7.2 Data Protection

• Customer data is never sold or shared with third parties except as required for payment processing or legal compliance.
